Vanessa Romário de Paula (Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora)
Vanessa Romário de Paula holds a technical degree in Dairy Products from the Cândido Tostes Dairy Institute, a degree in Business Administration, and a specialization in Logistics. She holds a Master’s degree in the Built Environment, with a research focus on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and is currently pursuing a PhD in Natural Resources Monitoring and Management through the Graduate Program in Civil Engineering at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). During her PhD, she conducted part of her research at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. She has professional experience in production and quality management in the dairy industry and has worked as a Research and Development Analyst at Embrapa since 2010. She is a member of Embrapa’s Local Sustainability Committee and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Committee. Her research and professional activities focus on environmental management, sustainable milk production, environmental licensing, Life Cycle Assessment, and carbon footprint assessment in dairy production. She also serves as a scientific reviewer for international journals, including Cleaner and Circular Bioeconomy, Cleaner Environmental Systems, and The International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment.
